Towards Low Carbon tours and Net Zero.

Global warming and climate change is major challenge faced by the world today.
Emission of Green House Gases is the main course of this and Carbon is the largest contributor out of GHGs.
To mitigate this world is moving towards Net Zero goals which are to be achieved by 2050.
As signatory of Paris Agreement, Sri Lanka is also complying with this target. As a trend setter in sustainability is Sri Lankan corporate sector, Aitken Spence Plc has setup its own target to reach Net Zero in 2030.
As a part of this initiative, Aitken Spence Travels takes another progressive step in its journey to achieve Net Zero and low Carbon Emission Tours.
We expand our fleet capacity, by adding 4 electric SUVs in to it.
These SUVs which can be drive fully on Electric mode or can be used in hybrid mode will allow us more flexibility to use them for round trips which covered the areas where EV charging facilities are not readily available as well.
They will run entirely on EV mode where charging facilities are available and will assist to reduce the carbon foot print of the tours at considerable level.
